Through Milford Wind, the town of Milford and Beaver and Millard counties can harness this clean and inexhaustible energy source to enhance the local economy and serve residents for many years to come.

• Increased tax revenue: Revenue from Milford Wind could be used to lower taxes, improve schools, maintain roads, and enhance other public services.
  
• Employment for Beaver and Millard County residents: Milford Wind will hire locally whenever possible, providing construction jobs and long-term operations and maintenance positions.
  
• Additional income for landowners: Leasing land from area residents would provide additional income for landowners without interfering with the current use of their land. Landowners can continue using their property for commercial purposes or to simply enjoy nature.
  
• Increased use of local services: During construction and operation, the use of local goods and services, will increase.
  
• Local, sustainable power to help stabilize electricity costs: The domestic, cost-competitive energy produced by Milford Wind will provide enough power for over 44,500 Utah homes. Because wind power has no fuel cost and does not rely on unpredictable oil and gas resources, it reduces the overall volatility of energy prices and stabilizes electricity rates.
  
• Reduced dependence on costly fossil fuels: Wind energy helps reduce dependence on costly fossil fuel imports, strengthens the diversity of our nation’s energy supply and enhances America’s energy independence.
