Currently, the majority of America’s electricity comes from burning fossil fuels—fuels with unpredictable and rising costs—and demand for electricity is only increasing each year. In addition, the burning of these fuels is harmful to both our health and our environment and contributes to greenhouse gases that result in global warming.
Clean, renewable wind energy can help meet the increasing demand for electricity in Utah and all of the United States, without burning fossil fuels, or relying on foreign fuel sources. By harnessing the natural resource of wind, Milford Wind would provide a natural, sustainable energy source for Utah—all while making our energy source local and helping strengthen America’s energy diversity.
